"Booked the private car for six of us. The driver turned up early, the car was spotless, and the camp knew our names. No surprises on the bill — exactly what the site said."
Abu Dhabi Desert Safari is a licensed tour operator running its own 4×4 fleet, its own drivers and its own Bedouin-style camp in the Al Khatim desert. Six safari products, one team, one price list — the same one you are reading right now.
Most "desert safari" websites you will find are booking desks. They take your money, mark it up, and hand you to whichever camp has space that evening. We are the camp.
Land Cruisers we own and maintain, fitted with roll bars, seat belts for every guest and free child restraints.
A Bedouin-style camp at Al Khatim with a proper kitchen, washrooms, a stage and tents with real beds.
Every driver is licensed, trained on the dunes and briefed on how to read a car full of nervous first-timers.
We live here. Pickup across the city, Yas, Saadiyat, Mussaffah, Khalifa City and the cruise terminal.
The same team answers before, during and after your trip. No call centre, no ticket number.
A hotel desk, a marketplace listing and a reseller all need their cut from the same evening. When you book with us directly, that margin stays in the car, the kitchen and the driver's pay — which is why our shared evening safari starts at AED 150 per adult with hotel pickup rather than the AED 250–350 the same evening sells for through a desk.
We built the booking flow to be the shortest one on the Abu Dhabi market. There is no cart, no login and no deposit.
Evening, morning, overnight, VIP, private, with a quad bike or behind the wheel of a dune buggy. Every price is on the page.
WhatsApp or the form on this site. Tell us your group size and where you are staying.
You get your driver's name, the car, and a precise pickup window — usually within ten minutes.
Cash or card in the car. Free cancellation any time up to 24 hours before we collect you.
Our camp sits roughly 80 km east of Abu Dhabi city on the Al Khatim dunes, 38–55 minutes from most central hotels and about an hour from the airport. It is far enough to lose the city glow and still be home before midnight.
These are working dunes rather than a showpiece dune field: medium height, soft sand, and quiet on everything except a winter Friday. If you want the giant Liwa dunes we will tell you honestly that this is not that trip — and point you at the Liwa overnight expedition instead.

"We live forty minutes away and had never stayed in the desert. The tents were far more comfortable than I expected and the sunrise breakfast was the best part of the whole weekend."
"The quad ride was a proper thirty minutes on a real route, not a loop around the car park. They answered every question on WhatsApp within minutes before we even booked."
Send us your dates and group size and we will tell you which safari is actually worth your money — including when the answer is the cheapest one.
